A Charles County grand jury issued the following indictments:

Stephen Randall Kent, 41, of District Heights was charged with second-degree burglary, theft of less than $1,000, malicious destruction of property valued at more than $500 and theft of between $10,000 and $100,000 for events that occurred Aug. 22.

Jerrod Lamont Benson, 21, of Lexington Park was charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and second-degree assault for events that occurred Aug. 2.

Brennan Edward Botts, 21, of Clinton was charged with first-degree child abuse, first-degree assault, second-degree child abuse, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment for events that occurred Aug. 17.

Adrian Carlos Farris, 23, of Waldorf was charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute, drug possession, marijuana possession, attempting to elude police, driving while suspended and failure to change lanes for an emegency vehicle for events that occurred Aug. 31.

Alishia Nicole Godfrey, 35, of Waldorf was charged with robbery, second-degree assault and four counts of theft of less than $1,000 for events that occurred May 11.

Timothy Doral Hawkins, 41, of Waldorf was charged with sexual solicitation of a minor for events that occurred Sept. 4.

Jordan Jamaal Hicks-Jones, 19, of Joppa was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession, possession of narcotics production equipment, conspiracy to distribute drugs and conspiracy to manufacture drugs for events that occurred Sept. 4.

Dewayne Antonio Hines, 30, of Indian Head was charged with sexual child abuse, second-degree sex offense and unnatural or perverted practice for events that occurred between April 1 and Sept. 7. In a separate case, Hines was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession, possession of narcotics production equipment and drug possession for events that occurred Sept. 13. In a separate case, Hines was charged with possession of a firearm by someone with a felony conviction for events that occurred between April 1 and Sept. 13. In a separate case, Hines was charged with second-degree assault, two counts of attempted third-degree sex offense and attempted fourth-degree sex offense for events that occurred June 18.

Christopher Lee Howdyshell, 18, of Welcome was charged with second-degree burglary, theft of between $1,000 and $10,000 and malicious destruction of property valued at more than $500 for events that occurred Aug. 2.

Lauren Edwina Kidd, 23, of Waldorf was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession, possession of narcotics production equipment, conspiracy to distribute drugs and conspiracy to manufacture drugs for events that occurred Sept. 4.

Lance Renell Pinkey, 19, of Brandywine was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and marijuana possession for events that occurred Sept. 1.

Robert Edward Price, 45, of Waldorf was charged with first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault, eight counts of violating a protective order, making a false statement to an officer, intimidating a juror, obstruction of justice and theft of less than $1,000 for events that occurred June 24 and 25, July 2, 5, 14-17 and 27 and Sept. 26.

Derrick Jamar Thompson, 20, of Waldorf was charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and second-degree assault for events that occurred Aug. 2.

Dominique Carlton Turner, 19, of Waldorf was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession and possession of narcotics production equipment for events that occurred Sept. 7.
