eTrepid, a Southern Maryland-based provider of managed IT services, announced that it has received the CompTIA MSP Partners Trustmark for its use of industry-accepted best practices for service delivery and customer interaction.
As one of 80 companies nationwide to be awarded the CompTIA MSP Partners Trustmark, eTrepid is the first company in Southern Maryland and the second company in the state to receive this certification, a news release from the Waldorf company stated.
“This credential identifies eTrepid as an IT service provider that’s demonstrated a high level of competency through their use of prescribed industry best practices and processes,” said Todd Thibodeaux, president and CEO of CompTIA, in the release.
To attain the CompTIA MSP Partners Trustmark, eTrepid was evaluated on aspects of its business operations, including organizational structure, technology tools and systems, operating procedures and specific services for network, server and end-user devices.
eTrepid also agreed to abide by an industry code of conduct that requires a commitment to conducting advertising, service delivery and overall business practices in an ethical manner.
The CompTIA MSP Partners Trustmark is one of several business credentials offered by CompTIA to IT companies, and is used to demonstrate that a business adheres to the industry's best practices and demonstrates to current and potential customers they have the dedication, knowledge and resources to perform quality service.
“We are extremely pleased and excited to have been awarded the CompTIA MSP Partners Trustmark,” said Tom Blandford, president and CEO for eTrepid, in the release. “We believe by having this certification, we can continue to build our reputation as a trusted source for IT-managed services.”
