Are many American citizens, which include those in our state of Maryland, going to pull their heads out of the sand and face up to the fact that where we are today is completely the opposite of what the Democrats and President Barack Obama are wanting you to believe? Allowing your mind to wander outside of their box will let you see the real world in true three dimension.
Speaking at the Democratic National Convention, former president Bill Clinton said his solution to joblessness and the economy was one word: arithmetic. We know or should know that figures do not lie, but liars figure. With that in mind, this is what the past four years’ work honestly looks like today:
Ÿ The auto industry bailout owes us money we will never receive. Look at all the jobs that were lost with the bailout, especially through Chrysler and all the Chrysler dealer closings;
Ÿ Is our military as strong as it was in 2008? The answer is no;
Ÿ Twenty-three million Americans are out of work, have stopped looking or are underemployed;
Ÿ $16 trillion is the national debt figure; that’s $50,000 for every American;
Ÿ We have had 43 straight months of 8 percent or higher unemployment;
Ÿ There were four straight trillion-dollar budget deficits in a row — more than any other president combined;
Ÿ At this very moment, we have 50 million poor people who are either without any food or are surviving while being under nourished and in poor health;
Ÿ We have the largest number of people on welfare than anytime in our history.
Should Obama be re-elected, 30 million people will be left without any insurance under the Obamacare ploy. Ultimately, it is simple arithmetic. As you can see, the policies of Obama don’t add up to prosperity for future Americans, those being our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
How long has it been since our educational system has been allowed to teach the true history of America and the world to our children, plus the religious and flag issues? This is an absolute disgrace for a country that took on the responsibility of trying to keep peace in the world without serious cooperation from the rest of the countries. How many Americans knew that there was a Russian submarine in the Gulf of Mexico very recently? I can tell you — damn few citizens knew this.
Obama has shown his complete distaste for our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. And may we never forget, the Democratic National Convention Committee did everything it could to remove God from its platform. It also did not want to accept Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol, meaning it was wanting to interfere with Israel’s infrastructure, which is the sole responsibility of the state of Israel — more Marxism.
Possible solutions that are simple and our history tells us will work is to:
Ÿ Reduce taxes across the board;
Ÿ Repeal Obamacare, stop murdering our children and make it easier for other Americans to adopt American babies;
Ÿ Create a must-work welfare system that is completely overhauled and properly managed and audited;
Ÿ Help make job opportunities and restore our economy — restart mining clean coal, clean up our coal-fired electric power industry, allow drilling of oil and gas wells, build the necessary pipe line from Canada to Texas, modernize our oil and gas refineries;
Ÿ Cut unnecessary taxes on industries, allowing them to compete worldwide, and bring those industries that left this country for their own survival back home;
Ÿ Put America back on the Gold Standard and use silver certificates in our folding money to help bring down inflation and allow our retail prices to come down and stabilize for longer periods, assisting industry to be on a more level playing field in world trade;
Ÿ Completely do away with plastic discount cards, coupons and cash-sales, making for honest selling prices — all regular prices must be what that company sells that product for when it’s not on sale;
Ÿ Do away with the IRS as is and institute a flat or fair tax policy that is citizen-oriented;
Ÿ We must stop making promises, threats we don’t keep, and replace them with warnings tied to a future date. Should that date arrive and there has been no compliance by those we warned, anytime within a short period thereafter we should do what we said we would do. Be honest — no more beating around the bush. This is who we are, and you were forewarned.
There is a lot more that can be accomplished, but this is a suggested start that is completely possible. May God bless America and her people.
