Shirley Margaret Stout, 88, of Solomons died Sept. 15, 2012, in Washington, D.C.
She was born June 23, 1924, in Baltimore to Henry G. and Marie V. Edgar Stueler.
She was also known as “GG,” was an avid swimmer and enjoyed to participate in water aerobics. She was a huge Washington Redskins fan, but her biggest hobby and favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon S. Stout.
She is survived by her children, Richard Stout and his wife, Norma, of Huntingtown, Glenn Stout and his wife, Linda, of Prince Frederick, Robert Stout and his wife, Tammy, of White Sands and Mark Stout; grandchildren, Steve and his wife, Teresa Stout, of Cobb, Ga., Shelly Stout of Kitty Hawk, N.C., Marcie and her husband, Adam Morrison, of Floyd, Va., Michelle and her husband, Tommy Sacks, of Prince Frederick, Douglas and his wife, Meghan Stout, of Huntingtown, Lisa and her husband, Tom Sickle, of St. Leonard, Kelly and her husband, Shawn Murphy, of Charles County, Rebecca and her husband, James Thompson, of Lusby, Steven Baltz of Lusby and Casey, Michael, Tracey and Tammy Stout; and great-grandchildren, Marina and Sebastian Stout, Madelyn and Joshua Peters, Johanna Morrison, Max and Nicholas Sacks, Emma, Ella and Eva Stout, Brayden and Scott Sickle, Ethan Murphy and Madison, Taylor and McKinley Thompson.
Family received friends Sept. 20, and a funeral service followed at Rausch Funeral Home in Port Republic.
