I have only been to two or three Charles County Planning Commission meetings because frankly they scare me, exemplified by the train wreck I witnessed Sept. 24.
Chairman Courtney Edmonds tried his best to move the meeting along because it was late at night and there were still people who had not had their turn to talk. What happened was not his fault.
The planning commission is not a kindergarten class; no one can blame the leader for what happened. They are adults, and one person cannot be expected to be able to control a shouting match between two grown men. These two men were two planning commission members who should not need controlling. I would never act the way they did, and I am not even old enough to vote.
