Anyone who tips a server at Red Robin Gourmet Burger Restaurant in Waldorf on Saturday will be donating to Special Olympics Maryland, a sports program for people with developmental disabilities.

Charles County sheriff’s officers will wait tables at lunch and dinner Oct. 13 for the second annual Tip a Cop Special Olympics fundraiser.

Officers also will sell shirts and hats commemorating the 2012 Law Enforcement Torch Run, a national Special Olympics fundraising event.
