Someone broke into a business in the 3900 block of St. Charles Parkway at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday and stole cartons of cigarettes, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the business and found the front door window had been broken.
Investigation showed someone had broken in and stolen cigarettes. A police dog team checked the building but did not find anyone. The scene was processed for evidence.
