The Rocky Hill Middle School Parent Teacher Association is hosting a book fair this month.

The biannual Scholastic Book Fair will run from Nov. 8-16 in the school’s media center, at 22401 Brick Haven Way in Damascus. A portion of the proceeds from the book sale will benefit the middle school.

Karen Ward, president of the school PTA, said that the event usually raises “a couple thousand dollars” for the school.

Hours for the fair are from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 8-9 and Nov. 14-15. Because of parent conferences, the fair will close at 7 p.m. on Nov. 12 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 13. The book fair will close at 1 p.m. on the final day, Nov. 16.
