A large flat-screen television was stolen between 6:45 and 10 a.m. Oct. 31 from a house in the 11700 block of Lancelot Drive in Waldorf, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Officers canvassed the area and found a witness who saw a tall man dressed in blue clothes with a green safety vest walking toward the back of the home during the time of the burglary.

A dark blue SUV was also seen leaving the area near the house, but it is unclear whether the driver committed the break-in.

Officer D. Chandler is investigating.

The sheriff's office is reminding residents to call police immediately if they see or hear anything suspicious.
