James N. Moriarty, 46, of Boston, died Nov. 9, 2012.
Born in Washington, D.C., to Nicholas and Janet Moriarty of Olney, he is survived by Monica Moriarty, his wife of 19 years.
He graduated from Good Counsel High School in Wheaton and received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Michaelís College in Winooski, Vt. He was a partner in the accounting firm of McGladrey and formerly a partner at Arthur Andersen and Caturano & Company. He also coached youth hockey, baseball, softball and lacrosse.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, William, Meghan and Christopher of Ashland; his siblings, David Moriarty and wife, Wendy, of Huntsville, Ala., and John Moriarty and wife, Karen, of Guilford, Conn.; his grandmother, Pearl Unis of Hudson, Mass.; his mother-in-law, Antonia Feest of Meriden, Conn; his brother-in-law, Joseph F. Feest and wife, Karen, of Meriden; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Nov. 14 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Hopkinton, Mass. Callanan Cronin Funeral Home in Hopkinton handled the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Dana-Farber Cancer institute or Be the Match, the National Marrow Donation Program.
