Carol M. Van Vleck, 91, of Woodbine, died Nov. 4, 2012.

Born Dec. 24, 1920, in Lake Odessa, Mich., to the late Arden C. Weygandt and Faye Sells, she was predeceased by seven siblings, Earl Weygandt of Berwyn Heights, Marvin Weygandt of Lake Odessa, Max Weygandt of Big Rapids, Mich., George Weygandt of Big Rapids, Leta Weygandt of Lake Odessa, Wilma Weygandt of Beltsville and Margaret Duvall of Damascus.

She graduated from Lake Odessa High in 1939.

She is survived by her children, Faye Hodiak and husband Richard of Woodbine, Bonnie Vaught and husband Jim of Loris, S.C., Nellie Van Vleck of New Port Richey, Fla., and Fred Van Vleck and wife Sheila of Sunfield, Mich.; her siblings, Joan Weygandt of Lake Odessa and Marie Weygandt of Big Rapids; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The memorial service took place at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at Jennings Chapel United Methodist Church in Woodbine.
