Stanley Howard Norris, 73, Waldorf
Stanley Howard “Buddy” Norris, 73, of Waldorf, formerly of Marlow Heights, died Nov. 10, 2012, at Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Salisbury.
He was a 40-year resident of Waldorf.
Born Nov. 9, 1939, in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Samuel and the late Sylvia Norris.
Mr. Norris served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Suez Crisis.
He was the owner and operator of Potomac Valley Sales, an HVAC company, and enjoyed boating and motorcycling. He was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his former spouse, Eva Desarno Gray, whom he married in 1961; son, Larry Norris of Annapolis, and grandsons, Aaron, Evan and Brandon Norris, all of Annapolis.
A life celebration will be held from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 14 at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, Edgewater. Burial is private.
