Thelma Anita Gasparovic, 97, Accokeek

Thelma Anita Gasparovic, 97, of Accokeek died Nov. 8, 2012, at home.

Born June 7, 1915, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. Wissner Hoskins and the late Howard B. Hoskins.

Mrs. Gasparovic was a homemaker and mom. She was a very active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Accokeek.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stephen Gasparovic; and brother, Walter Hoskins.

She is survived by her son, Gary S. Gasparovic and his wife, Donna of La Plata; daughter, Candace Anita Allen and her husband, Gary of Accokeek; sister-in-law, Jenny Hoskins of Timonium; grandchildren, Shannon Christianson and her husband, Mark and Ladd Gasparovic and his wife, Stephanie; and great-grandchildren Sutton Christianson, Sloane Christianson and Milena Gasparovic.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 17 at Faith United Methodist Church, Accokeek. The Rev. George Aist will officiate. Burial will take place later next to Mrs. Gasparovicís husband at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
