Edna B. Chicoine, 92, Fort Washington

Edna B. Chicoine, 92, of Fort Washington, formerly of Indian Head, died Nov. 13, 2012.

Born in Montreal, she was the wife of 58 years, of the late Paul A. Chicoine. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, June C. Gates and her husband, William B. Gates Sr. of Fort Washington; granddaughter, Lorraine M. Thompson and her husband, George E. Thompson Jr. of Waldorf; grandson, William B. Gates Jr. and his wife, Cristie E. Gates of Waldorf; and great-grandchildren, Sydney Gates, Hannah Gates and Amanda Thompson, all of Waldorf.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Nov. 17 at St. Mary’s Piscataway Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton.
