Manuel A. Collaso, 94, Waldorf

Manuel A. “Joe” Collaso, 94, of Waldorf died Nov. 9, 2012.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, he was the son of the late Ventura and the late Jesse Collaso.

He was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was a photographer in the Air Force and an Air Staff photographer at the Pentagon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Collaso.

He is survived by his sons, Henry and Joe Collaso.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton. The Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate. Burial with full military honors will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.
