A lookout was posted on Nov. 10 for a blue Ford F-150 truck with Virginia registration that was allegedly seen in the area of Budds Creek Road and Rocky Ridge Road in Chaptico with a man loading a Maryland State Highway road sign into the bed of the truck. St. Mary's sheriff's deputy Harris located and stopped the truck, which was being driven by Scott Oliver Henson, 45, of Temple Hills. According to a police report, the Maryland State Highway Administration was contacted and said Henson did not have permission to remove the road sign. He was arrested for theft and driving while suspended.
