Head coach: Chris Harney (eighth season)

Last year: 20-8, 13-3 (Capital Athletic Conference regular season champion)

Athletes to watch: G Devin Spencer (Sr., All-CAC), G Chris Hutchinson (Sr.)

Key personnel losses: F Mike Fitzpatrick, F Christian MacAuley (All-CAC)

Strengths: Harney said, quickly, that the team’s strength is depth. Harney added that he has a lot of talent which leads to the positive problem of not being able to truly identify a starting five, meaning any of 10 guys can start.

Weaknesses: Harney admitted that while he does not have any true concern, he will be focused on how the team executes on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. He admits that while executing successfully, “doesn’t happen overnight,” he expects it to become successful after repetitions and practice.

Coach’s comments: “One of the goals is to, obviously, carry on that winning tradition. Our overall goal remains the same and that is to win a national championship. But, I am a big believer in you do one thing one step at a time. So right now, our focus is on our first game at Catholic (D.C.).”

Key games: Nov. 18 vs. Randolph-Macon (Va.) at Hoopsville National Invitational Classic, Owings Mills; Dec. 1 vs. York (Pa.); Jan. 7 vs. Franklin & Marshall (Pa.); Jan. 26 at York (Pa.)
