The past two weeks have been so hectic, and we feel like its been hard to even find time to sleep.
From playing a match every other night for a week straight plus practices on our days off got hectic for a bit.
We really are bringing a whole new meaning to the saying, “Eat, sleep, volleyball.”
Winning regional finals for the second year in a row was the best feeling, and we were very surprised at how well we played against a very strong team. We surprised ourselves.
Tuesday night was loads of fun. And before the match, we promised ourselves and each other that we wouldn't be feeling the same way that we did at that point of playoffs last year.
Last season, we lost to Fallston one game to three in the state semifinals, and it was not going to happen again.
Before the state semifinal match against North Caroline, the seniors stated that this would not be our last game as a team because we “aren't done playing yet.”
We are proud to say that we will be appearing in the state championship match on Monday, Nov. 19.
We hope everyone can make it to Ritchie Coliseum in College Park to support Calvert volleyball.
