Man charged with lying about stolen bike
Detectives charged Jason John Weil, 38, of La Plata with filing a false police report Nov. 13 after officers found the expensive motorcycle he claimed had been stolen weeks earlier hidden inside a trailer at his neighbor’s house, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Detective D. Savoy is investigating.
