Officers arrested two 16-year-olds Nov. 14 after finding them near the scene of a reported burglary in the 2600 block of Hamilton Place in Waldorf, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Someone reported two people were trying to kick down the rear door of a house around 1:30 p.m. Officers responded and saw the two teens walking down the street.

After police confirmed that a burglary had occurred, the teens were arrested, charged with burglary and released to the custody of their parents.
