The Rockville Volunteer Fire Department is holding a raffle fundraiser with a total of $25,000 in prize money.

A $10 donation buys one ticket, and $20 buys three tickets. So far, the department has sold 3,100 tickets.

The first-prize winner will receive $15,000, second prize is $5,000 and third- and fourth-prize winners will receive $2,500 each.

The department will sell tickets until 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, when Rockville Mayor Phyllis Marcuccio will draw the winning tickets during an event at Miller’s Ale House, 1471 Rockville Pike. The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. that evening, with fire-fighting equipment and firefighters on hand for kids to talk and mingle with.

Anyone who purchases a ticket at the event that evening will receive a coupon for a free appetizer on their next visit. Tickets are also available at the main station on Hungerford Drive or at www.rvfd.org.
