The following is a summary of incidents in the Olney area to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words arrested and charged do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county police media services office.
Aggravated Assault
On Nov. 1 at 2:08 a.m. in the 10400 block of Hemley Lane, Wheaton. A police officer responded to a call for a domestic dispute after which the suspect assaulted the officer with a weapon.
On Nov. 4 at 1:10 a.m. in the 1400 block of Silo Drive, Silver Spring. The suspect is known to the victim.
On Nov. 4 at 10:20 p.m. outside of Antigua Restaurant, 11220 Georgia Ave., Wheaton. The suspect is known to the victim.
Armed Robbery
On Oct. 31 at 7:40 p.m. at Hathaway Drive and Dressler Lane, Glenmont. The suspects threatened the victims with a weapon and obtained property.
Peeping Tom
On Nov. 5 at 7:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of Collins Avenue, Wheaton. The suspect was looking into windows.
Residential Burglary
15300 block of Baughman Drive, Aspen Hill, between Oct. 25 and Nov. 3. Forced entry, took property.
19900 block of Zion Road, Brookeville, between 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 31. Attempted forced entry, took nothing.
18000 block of Muncaster Road, Redland, between Oct. 30 and 31. Unforced entry into shed, took property.
15000 block of Wellwood Road, Colesville, after 6:20 a.m. Oct. 31. Unforced entry, took property.
400 block of Hillsboro Drive, Silver Spring, at 7:25 a.m. Nov. 1. No forced entry, took nothing.
15700 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, at 6:32 p.m. Nov. 1. Attempted forced entry, took nothing.
4600 block of Aspen Hill Road, Aspen Hill, between 7:40 and 9:06 p.m. Nov. 1. Unforced entry, took property.
