The following is a summary of incidents in the Bethesda area to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words “arrested” and “charged” do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county.

Aggravated Assault

ź On Oct. 31 between 2:10 and 2:15 p.m. in the 11400 block of Rockville Pike, Rockville. The suspect is known to the victim.

Armed Carjacking

ź On Oct. 31 at 2:10 p.m. in the 11200 block of Rockville Pike, Rockville. The suspect displayed a weapon and obtained the victim’s vehicle.

Commercial Burglary

ź On Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the 11200 block of Rockville Pike, Rockville. Unknown entry, took property.

ź Between the afternoon of Nov. 1 and the morning of Nov. 2 in the 5500 block of Security Lane, North Bethesda. Unknown entry, took property.

ź Between the afternoon of Nov. 1 and the morning of Nov. 2 in the 5500 block of Friendship Boulevard, Friendship Village. Forced entry, took property.

ź Overnight between Nov. 1 and 2 at Verizon, 11301 Rockville Pike, Rockville. Forced entry, took property.

Pick-Pocketing

ź On Nov. 4 in the 4400 block of Willard Avenue, Friendship Village. The elderly male victim was shopping at Whole Foods when the referenced suspect ‘bumped’ into him. The victim discovered his wallet missing.

Residential Burglary

ź 5300 block of Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda, between 1:50 and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 1. Unknown means of entry, took property.

ź 3900 block of Franklin Street, Kensington, between 8:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 2. Forced entry, took property.

ź Three incidents in the 10300 block of Strathmore Hall Street, North Bethesda, between 7:20 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 5. Forced entry in all three cases, took property in two incidents.

ź 3100 block of University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, between Nov. 5 and 6. Unforced entry, took property.

Robbery

ź On Nov. 1 at 1:50 p.m. in the 4800 block of Bethesda Avenue, Bethesda. The suspect unsuccessfully attempted to forcefully remove property from the victim.

Vehicle Larceny

ź Near North Park and Willard avenues, Bethesda, between 7 and 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Took purse through broken car window.

ź Two incidents in the 4700 block of Merivale Road, Bethesda, overnight between Nov. 3 and 4. Broken car windows in both incidents; took a backpack from one and nothing from the other.
