Adam Klaffky, 28, of Kensington recently completed a 35-day expedition in the Wind River Range of Wyoming with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and graduated from the course.

The Wind River Range is a rugged, glacier-carved range renowned for its sheer granite walls and famous for its fishing and climbing. Students developed teaching and leadership skills necessary for professional positions at NOLS and other wilderness programs, including leadership progression, navigation, off-trail travel, river crossings, travel on steep snow and fly fishing. The course culminated in a student expedition in which the students lead their own multi-day expedition.
