Poolesville’s seventh annual holiday lighting ceremony will take place Friday, Dec. 7. There will be a smorgasborg of delights including ice carving demos, soup ‘n sandwiches, funnel cakes, book readings by Mrs. Claus, and more.

New to the ceremony this year is a ride on the Polar Express, which will transport passengers around town to participating businesses with holiday specials.
