My name is Heather Heath. My husband, Jeff, and our three kids live in Huntingtown. We moved into a new house last Sunday, the day before the storm hit, and after being here for only a couple of hours, our family cat, Frosty, ran out of the garage and into the dark. We have been looking everywhere for her, making Facebook posts and calling the Humane Society with no luck. Every day, we would drive to the old house just to see if she was there, but as we were going on 10 days without seeing her, we had figured she wasn’t coming back.

This morning, I came downstairs at 3:45 a.m. to get some tea because I just couldn’t sleep and there, on our back deck, was Frosty, meowing away. She came in and was so happy to see me. Then she ran upstairs to the kids’ rooms waking them each up.

Someone said I should send this story because people need more feel-good stories. So, there you have it.
