Ma-Pia Generalao, 33, of Lusby was released Tuesday on personal recognizance after her arrest on charging papers alleging she stole seven iPhones with a total value of $4,393 from the Walmart store in California in October and earlier this month while employed at the business.
Video surveillance footage showed the suspect filling a brown cardboard box with phones and their clear plastic security boxes, walking away from that location and later returning with only the boxes, according to a statement of probable cause filed by sheriff's deputy Trevor Teague.
