Evantee L. Livingston, 23, of Lexington Park was released on personal recognizance after her arrest last week on theft charges in court papers alleging she took $5,862 between last July and earlier this month while employed as a cashier at the Lowe's home-improvement store in California.

The suspect's “actions were observed via video security footage,” according to a statement of probable cause filed by St. Mary's sheriff's deputy Melissa Green.
