The newest member of the Charles County Circuit Court reportedly views a jurist’s role as “upholding society’s balance between tyranny and anarchy” [“Former prosecutor sworn in as circuit court judge,” Maryland Independent, Nov. 16].
Silly me. I always thought a jurist’s role was to apply the law.
