Telecommunications attorney Mark Uncapher was re-elected chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Central Committee at its meeting Tuesday, according to a release from the party.
Katja Bullock was elected first vice chair. Bullock was special assistant to the president in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel from 1982-1993 and 2001-2009. Uncapher and Bullock will be serving their fifth one-year term.
Uncapher said Wednesday that the GOPís agenda for the next year includes developmental efforts, voter identification efforts and candidate recruitment for the 2014 elections.
The committee also elected Dwight Patel, owner of Bethesda Architects, as second vice chair; Lorraine Kuchmy, director of administration at The Livingston Group, as treasurer; and Josephine Wang, a retired MCPS teacher and part-time faculty member at Montgomery College, as secretary.
