In case of inclement weather, this event will be held in the Winegardner Auto Showroom.
Our county was deeply saddened recently to learn of the loss of a fine resident. Maria Morgan, 47, died at Hospice House of St. Maryís in Callaway after suffering injuries from a severe car accident on July 11, 2011.
She died with her husband holding her hand and surrounded by her family.
For a year following the accident, she spent time in hospitals and rehabilitation centers before finally coming home on July 11 to receive at-home care and to be with her husband and children.
My brother, Charles, and husband, Don, join me in extending our deepest sympathy to her devoted husband of 22 years, Commissioner Todd Morgan (R); her three children; other family members and to her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Maria was truly a fine lady, wife and mother.
