Landover consulting firm hires new director

Cloudburst Consulting Group of Landover has named Vladimir Knezevic director of its Center for Public Health.

Knezevic, formerly director of the Center for Peer Review and Science Management at SRA International, has 20 years of management experience and medical training and a decade of biomedical research experience, according to a company statement.

He will be responsible for managing and driving Cloudburst’s established business in health communications, evaluation research and performance management, program planning and technical assistance services, and providing support to client agencies.

McDonald’s opens in at Ritchie Station

Franchisees Carlos Mateos and daughter Jillian have opened a McDonald's restaurant at 1701 Ritchie Station Court in Capitol Heights.

The Mateos own 11 other franchises, according to McDonald's information. This is their second McDonald's location in Maryland.

One of new eatery’s features is a community table that seats eight to 10 patrons.
