Watkins Regional Park in Upper Marlboro opened its 26th annual Festival of Lights exhibit Nov. 23.

The drive-through festival of holiday light displays — featuring more than one million lights — includes a number of new displays in the festivalís ever-growing arsenal, including Santa Claus piloting a helicopter and driving a fire truck.

The festival is open nightly from 5:30 to 9 p.m. through Jan. 1 at 301 Watkins Park Drive. Admission is $5 for cars and vans, $10 for a three-visit multi-pass, $15 for mini-buses and limos, and $25 for buses of 25 seats or more. The festival will be free Christmas Day.

Park staff will also be accepting canned goods for donation to local food banks. For more information, call 301-699-2456 or go to www.pgparks.com/Festival_of_Lights.htm.
