Blanche P.C. Rosa, 74, Upper Marlboro

Blanche P.C. “Pat” Rosa, 74, of Upper Marlboro died Nov. 16, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Rosa enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She loved to entertain her family and was an excellent cook. In her younger years, she lived and traveled all over the world. She was fond of her puppy, Sissy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antone C. Rosa Jr., a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant, who died in 1998.

She is survived by her children, Debra Ann Rosa of Damascus, James Anthony Rosa of Charlotte Hall, Anthony Joseph Rosa of Charlotte Hall, Katherine Leah Rosa of Windsor Mill and Dean Raymond Rosa of Camp Springs; grandchildren, Amy Rosa Romano of Olney, Tiffanie Rosa Plunkett of Nanjemoy, Stephanie Lee Rosa of Nanjemoy and Michael James McGehee, David George McGehee and Mary Catherine McGehee, all of Damascus; great-grandchildren, Layla, Giovanni, Camille, Dominic and Joseph; siblings, Raymond Barr, Kay Ann Stout and Michael Brown; and other relatives.

A service was held Nov. 24 at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, Owings. Burial will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
