Chesapeake Beach
Car break-in reported
Tfc. Logsdon responded to the 4000 block of Band Shell Court at 11:59 a.m. Nov. 23 where a victim reported their vehicle was entered and the contents rummaged through. Nothing was reported missing and the investigation is ongoing.
Port Republic
Man charged with DUI, drug possession
At 1:50 a.m. Nov. 20, Tfc. Williams stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 near Broomes Island Road. Timothy E. Garner, 38, of Port Republic was arrested for driving under the influence and during a search of the vehicle, Percocet and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found. He was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Prince Frederick
Cocaine, marijuana found in car
A vehicle was stopped by Trooper Lewis at 12:22 a.m. Nov. 22 on Route 4 near Bowen Road for traffic violations. Scott L. Lane, 41, of Lusby was arrested for driving under the influence and during a search of the vehicle, cocaine and marijuana allegedly were found. Lane was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Teen charged with drug possession
Wesley J. Herbert, 19, of Fruitland was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center after Tfc. Esnes stopped his vehicle at 11:32 a.m. Nov. 24 for traffic violations on Main Street and allegedly found him in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a concealed knife.
St. Leonard
Items stolen, property destroyed
Cpl. Bennett responded at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 to the 400 block of Calvert Beach Road for a reported theft and destruction of property. The rear window of a vehicle was broken and a red Northern Tool mini pallet jack was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
Sunderland
Registration stolen
Sgt. Roach is investigating the theft reported at 4:19 p.m. Nov. 20 of a registration plate that reads 8AN6469 from the rear of a vehicle parked at the Sunderland Park & Ride.
