Ann Theresa Smuck Cecil, 85, Catonsville died Nov. 28, 2012.

She was born Nov. 29, 1926.

She was the wife of John Thomas Cecil, who preceded her in death.

She was the mother of Joanne Cecil Brown (Charles H. III), Nancy Cecil Vargo (Dennis), John T. Cecil Jr. (Donna), J. Allan Cecil II (Kimberly), J. Robb Cecil (Peggy), J. Michael Cecil (Christine deBarbadillo), J. David Cecil (Bonnie) and Anita Cecil Smith (Stephen C. Jr.). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Anita Smuck Marocco; and one brother, Stanley J. Smuck. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Smuck Killian; and three brothers, Harry P. Smuck, Joseph I. Smuck and William R. Smuck.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 1 at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville. Interment took place Dec. 4 at Holy Face Cemetery in Great Mills.
