The Maryland Encore Chorale is hosting a free holiday concert on Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center (7005 Georgia Ave.) in downtown Silver Spring. The concert is conducted by Jeanne Kelly.

Encore Chorale is the nation’s largest choral program for older adults and will present the Maryland Encore Chorales of Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center in Silver Spring, Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg and Washington Conservatory of Music in Washington, D.C. The 175 singers, age 55 and older, will perform holiday tunes.

Admission is free — no tickets needed. Arrive early for free parking.
