The following is a summary of incidents in the Olney area to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words “arrested” and “charged” do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county police media services office.

Aggravated Assault

Ÿ On Nov. 14 at 10:30 p.m. at the Wheaton Metro bus area, Wheaton. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and was arrested.

Ÿ On Nov. 19 at 12:45 a.m. in the 11200 block of Georgia Avenue, Wheaton. The suspects assaulted the victims then fled.

Armed Robbery

Ÿ On Nov. 13 at 10:50 p.m. in the 13500 block of Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Burglary

Ÿ On Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. at Drew Elementary School, 1200 Swingingdale Drive, Silver Spring. No forced entry, took nothing.

Commercial Burglary

Ÿ On Nov. 18 between 12:34 and 1:45 p.m. at Suburban Solutions LLC, 3000 Oak Drive, Kensington. Unforced entry, took property.

Residential Burglary

Ÿ 11600 block of Gail Street, Silver Spring, between 9:15 a.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 14. Unforced entry, took property.

Ÿ 17100 block of Old Baltimore Road, Olney, between 8 and 11:15 a.m. Nov. 15. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ 3300 block of Pendleton Drive, Silver Spring, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Nov. 16. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ 13100 block of Collingwood Drive, Silver Spring, between 1 p.m. Nov. 16 and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ 2400 block of Sapling Ridge Lane, Brookeville, between 5:30 and 7:58 p.m. Nov. 17. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ 1300 block of Cavendish Drive, Silver Spring, at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 17. The suspect is known to the victim.

Ÿ 5400 block of Manorfield Road, Rockville, between 7:50 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 19. Forced entry, took property.
