The following is a summary of incidents in the Potomac area to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words “arrested” and “charged” do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county.

1st District

Auto Theft

Ÿ Between 11 p.m. Nov. 12 and 8 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 11700 block of Glen Road, Rockville. Unlocked vehicle with key left inside.

Ÿ Two incidents between 6:45 p.m. Nov. 15 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 16 in a parking lot owned by Reed Brothers Dodge, 15955 Frederick Road, Rockville.

Ÿ Between 10 p.m. Nov. 18 and 8 a.m. Nov. 19 in the 13100 block of Brushwood Way, Rockville. Unlocked vehicle with key left inside.

Commercial Burglary

Ÿ Two incidents on Nov. 19 at 9:15 a.m. at Randolph Beer and Wine and Pure Glass Virtue Store, 5401 Randolph Road, Rockville. Forced entry.

Graffiti

Ÿ On Nov. 14 at 10:22 p.m. in the 16600 block of Crabbs Branch Way, Derwood.

Ÿ On Nov. 15 between 7 and 9 p.m. on the door of El Patio, 5420 Randolph Road, Rockville.

Ÿ On Nov. 15 at 7:21 p.m. in front of the Ezras Israel Congregation, 803 Montrose Road, Rockville.

Ÿ On Nov. 15 at 9:31 p.m. in the 16600 block of Crabbs Branch Way, Derwood.

Ÿ Between 4 p.m. Nov. 16 and 6 a.m. Nov. 17 on the Porta-Johns at the Herbert Hoover Middle School construction site, 8810 Postoak Drive, Rockville

Residential Burglary

Ÿ 11200 block of Greenbriar Preserve Lane, Travilah, between Nov. 12 and 17. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ 14100 block of Blue Ash Way, Rockville, at 7 p.m. Nov. 14. Forced entry, unknown whether anything was taken.

Ÿ 600 block of Marcia Lane, Rockville, between 11:22 a.m. and noon Nov. 15. Forced entry, took nothing.

Ÿ 11300 block of Amberlea Farm Drive, North Potomac, on Nov. 16. The suspect is known to the victim.

Ÿ 3900 block of Halpine Road, Rockville, between 9 a.m. and 6:11 p.m. Nov. 16. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ Three incidents in the 7700 block of Yellowstone Way, Derwood, between 2 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Nov. 16. The suspects were located and all of the property was recovered. In one instance entry was unforced, in another it was forced and in the third it was unsuccessful.

Robbery

Ÿ On Nov. 19 at 7:54 p.m. in the 13600 block of Gum Spring Drive, North Potomac. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Ÿ On Nov. 19 at 8:45 p.m. in the 14600 block of Gallant Fox Lane, North Potomac. The suspects assaulted the victim and unsuccessfully removed property.

2nd District

Aggravated Assault

Ÿ On Nov. 18 at 11:30 p.m. at Woodmont and Rugby avenues, Bethesda. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and the victim fled.

Commercial Burglary

Ÿ Two incidents on Nov. 16 at 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda.

Graffiti

Ÿ On Nov. 12 on recycling bins in the parking lot of Rock Creek Forest Elementary School, 8330 Grubb Road, Chevy Chase.

Residential Burglary

Ÿ 6400 block of Walhonding Road, Bethesda, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 14. Unforced entry, took property.

Ÿ 5900 block of Valerian Lane, Rockville, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 14. Forced entry, took property.

Ÿ 11000 block of Cedarwood Drive, Rockville, between 12:10 and 12:15 p.m. Nov. 14. Attempted forced entry, took nothing.

Ÿ 7200 block of Nevis Road, Bethesda, between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 15. Forced entry, took nothing.

Strong-Arm Robbery

Ÿ On Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the 10500 block of Montrose Road, Potomac. The suspect assaulted the victim and removed property.

Theft

Ÿ On Nov. 14 at 4:20 p.m. in the 7500 block of Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda. An unknown suspect removed property from victim as the victim shopped at Safeway.

Ÿ Between Nov. 17 and 18 in the 3700 block of Curtis Court, Chevy Chase. Took property from outside of the location.

Vehicle Larceny

Ÿ Four incidents in a residential lot in the 8500 block of 16th Street, Silver Spring, overnight between Nov. 16 and 17. Forced entry, took GPS unit.

Ÿ Friendship Boulevard and Western Avenue, Bethesda, on Nov. 18. Forced entry, took clothing.

Ÿ The Hills Plaza and S. Park Avenue, Bethesda, on Nov. 18. Forced entry, took clothing.
