Operation Second Chance and Paul Davis Restoration are collecting donations for wounded service men and women and their families.

Requested items include gloves and hats for adults, gift cards, unwrapped toys, books and movies for children. Donations may be dropped off at Paul Davis Restoration, 7410 Lindbergh Drive, Gaithersburg. Items should be marked with a message for Operation Second Chance.

Operation Second Chance is a nonprofit organization that supports hospitalized veterans and their families. Paul Davis Restoration provides emergency restoration and mitigation services locally and nationally.

Both Operation Second Chance and Paul Davis Restoration will participate in the “Adopt a Family” program, where soldiers being treated at military hospitals create wish lists. To participate, contact Lisa Plant at 301-252-1747 or Vanesah Noechel at 301-370-0960.
