The American Legion Post 60 in Laurel will be hosting a breakfast fundraiser from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday and the second Sunday of every month until April.
The all-you-can-eat buffet is sponsored by the American Legion Riders. The cost is $7 per adult, $5 per child 6- to 10-years-old, and children 5 and under eat free when accompanied by a paying adult. Money raised will go to the Riders’ various charitable causes such as USO Angel Tree at Fort Meade, which provides presents for service men and women and their families, and the American Legion Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for the children of service men and women killed in the War on Terror, said Riders Director Todd Hobart.
On Dec. 16, Post 60 will be holding its annual Christmas Party from 1 to 3 p.m. at the post, 2 Main St. in Laurel. Admission is free.
“We’ll have reindeer games, children will get ornaments they can decorate, they can visit with Santa and get a free lunch,” said the Post’s publicity chairwoman Josephine Lohman. “It will be fun for the entire family.”
Refreshments will be available.
