Lewis Edward Parker Jr., 75, Clinton

Lewis Edward “Louie” Parker Jr., 75, of Clinton died Dec. 1, 2012, in Clinton.

Born Aug. 28, 1937, in Upper Marlboro, he was the son of the late Lewis Edward Parker Sr. and the late Esta Stallings Parker.

Mr. Parker was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a Grateful Dead fan and was an industrious and helpful man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Michael Parker; and sister ,Lois Diane Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Johnston of Waldorf; son, Philip Andrew Parker of Waldorf; stepdaughter, Lisa Lawler Colvin of Waldorf; nephew, Edward Martin Williams of La Plata; brother, John Lester Parker of Fort Leavenworth, Kan.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Dec. 5 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland. The Rev. Mark Roberson officiated.

Arrangements were handled by Lee Funeral Home, Clinton.
