Theodore Lester Diange, 76, Hughesville
Theodore Lester “Teddy” Diange, 76, of Hughesville died Dec. 3, 2012, at Genesis La Plata Center.
Born May 13, 1936, in Shenandoah, Pa., he was the son of the late Lester Diange and the late Henrietta Offshanny Diange.
Mr. Diange was a pile driver for more than 40 years with Pile Drivers Local 2311 in Washington, D.C., and was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, McConchie, and the Knights of Columbus. He was an excellent carpenter and took pride in taking care of his property. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, N.J., smoking cigars and being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Victoria Diange; son, Theodore Z. Diange of Hughesville; daughters, Deborah J. and her husband Albert Quade of Hughesville, Victoria A. and her husband John West of Oak Hill and Sharon H. Kerns of La Plata; and grandchildren, Anthony, Theodore and Ashley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Dec. 8 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert Kosty will officiate. Burial will take place in Pennsylvania.
