Frances Ann Marshall, 80, La Plata
Frances Ann Marshall, 80, of La Plata died Dec. 2, 2012, at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Born Oct. 11, 1932, in Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of the late Jack Folland and the late Flossie Mae Buchanan Folland.
Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker and of the Episcopal faith. In her early years, she taught Sunday school at her church and did hairdressing in her shop in her home. She loved gardening and could grow anything. She was also an excellent seamstress. She most enjoyed being with family and friends and doing all she could to help them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Marshall; and grandchild, C.J. Marshall.
She is survived by her sons, Clay Wynn and his wife Roberta Marshall of Fort Worth, Texas, and Steve E. and his wife Micaela Marshall of Fort Washington; daughters, Linda Jean Marshall of La Plata and Debra Ann and her husband Steven Swisher of Florida; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Dec. 8 at Raymond Funeral Service, La Plata. The Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
