Danny Ray Barrow, 55, of King George, Va., formerly of Hollywood, Md., died Nov. 5, 2012, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
He was born May 17, 1957, in Washington, D.C., to Cassie Murray Barrow and the late Richard Barrow.
He was a member of the Local 730 Teamsters Union. He loved listening to music, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews regardless of the event. He was always their biggest fan. He retired from Giant Food after 30 years of service, most recently working at Free Lance Star in Fredericksburg, Va.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Barrow; and brother, Donald Barrow.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mollie Carlyn O’Grady Barrow; mother, Cassie Murray Barrow; sisters, Janice and her husband, Mike Walters, and Frankie and her husband, Scott Snowden; his brothers, Jimmy and his wife, Denise O’Grady, Jack and his wife, Kathy O’Grady, and Peggy and her husband, Roger Dyson, and family; aunts and uncle, Jimmy and Shirley Giles and Dorthea Rees; nieces and nephews, Stefanie O’Grady, Jimmy O’Grady Jr., Matt O’Grady, Sean O’Grady, Kelly O’Grady, Ivan Barnett, Carol Oyler and Roger Thomas Dyson; and great-niece, Morgan Edwards.
Family received friends for a celebration of life and memorial service Nov. 9 at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall.
