The Oseh Shalom synagogue of Laurel is inviting the community to come out and attend a Hanukkah Candle Lighting Ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Friday, followed by Friday evening services.

Office manager Barry Nove said Laurel Mayor Craig Moe is a confirmed guest at the event.

“We’re a community organization and so we’d love to have the community come out and celebrate with us,” Nove said.
