Bethesda-Chevy Chase partnership shows students glimpse into ‘real world’ -- Gazette.Net

Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School celebrated its 20th annual Career Partnership Day on Thursday with its partners, Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement.

During the day, more than 125 students from the high school visited with more than 40 sponsor companies across the county, learning about their work and field, according to Barbara Hueter, the school’s internship coordinator.

“This is a terrific event for B-CC students and our comunity,” Hueter said in an email. “Students gain first-hand experience of what it is like to work in certain industries and are able to connect the real world of work with their academic courses.”
