Three teenagers were arrested Dec. 12 after officers caught them fleeing the scene of a reported burglary in the 7600 block of Logging Lane in Nanjemoy, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Police were dispatched at 11:02 a.m. after a witness reported seeing three males break into a neighbor’s home.
The officers arrived and determined that the teens were inside the house but caught them as they tried to flee.
Detectives subsequently linked the three — ages 15, 17 and 19 — to a Dec. 4 burglary in the 5700 block of Port Tobacco Road after finding property stolen during the theft at one of the teen’s homes.
All three were charged with burglary. The investigation is ongoing; detectives are investigating whether the teens were involved in additional crimes.
