David C. Karis, 43, of California was released on personal recognizance following his arrest this month on charges including the possession of marijuana that narcotics detectives report were filed after their search of a vehicle.

Detectives report that marijuana, 34 oxycodone tablets, 39 alprazolam tablets and 12 Suboxone strips were seized, and that the investigation determined that the tablets were being distributed through street sales and the Suboxone strips were being mailed to North Carolina.
