St. Mary’s narcotics detectives reported last Thursday that a grand jury indictment has been issued charging Byron Donald Green, 31, of Lexington Park with a handgun violation and drug offenses including prescription fraud.

The indictment alleges the offenses occurred last September, according to online court records, and detectives report that the charges were obtained following a police raid.

Green is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges next month in circuit court.
